July 6 to September 4, 2026 - 9:00 am - 11:30 am
Summer art camp at Art Works Art School offers an array of new and exciting programs for kids every week!
Camp begins at 9:00 am - 11:30 am each day of the week.
Students must bring their own healthy nut-free lunch, 2-4 snacks, appropriate outdoor gear, and a water bottle. Campers will need to apply their own sunscreen. A typical day at Art Works for campers is as follows: 9:00 am drop, art projects begin at 9:00 am, snack, art project, finishing up / cleaning up, and pick-up at 11:30 am.
Registration for summer camp is FINAL, no refunds unless the spot can be filled by someone waitlisted.
Please note: Camp fees have increased slightly this year to reflect rising material and operating costs.

Oh Canada!
Young artists will explore the beauty of Canada through hands-on crafting! Artists will paint, draw, and craft projects inspired by Ted Harrison, Kenojuak Ashevak, and Emily Carr, from colourful forests to playful wildlife. Each activity sparks imagination, creativity, and pride in our Canadian heritage perfect for little ones who love to create and explore!

All-a-boot Canada!
Celebrate Canada’s artistic spirit in this fun and creative camp! Campers will explore drawing and painting through projects inspired by Canadian artists such as Ted Harrison, A.Y. Jackson, Daphne Odjig, and Toni Onley. From colourful landscapes to expressive artwork, kids will discover Canadian stories through hands-on creativity.

Canada, eh!
Celebrate all things Canadian in this fun and creative art camp! Campers will take inspiration from Canadian artists like Emily Carr, David Blackwood,, and Toni Onley while creating artwork inspired by hockey scenes, cozy coffee stops, maple treats, comfort foods, and Canada’s stunning landscapes. Using drawing, painting, and mixed media, artists will explore Canadian culture and creativity in a relaxed, hands-on way.

Polar Pals
Cool off with a snowy, artsy adventure! Artists will create their very own winter masterpieces, from playful penguins and waddling polar bears to frosty foxes and snowy owls. Using crayons, markers, pastels and more, each day is full of hands-on creativity, exploration, and imagination the perfect way to celebrate art in the summer!

Winter in Summer
Travel the world without leaving the studio! Campers will explore icy landscapes, snowy forests, and frozen lakes from places like the Arctic, the Alps, and Antarctica, creating winter-inspired paintings, collages, and mixed media projects. Using paints, pastels, and textured papers, each day is full of hands-on exploration, creativity, and imagination as kids bring frosty adventures to life.

Frozen Worlds
Venture from the jagged peaks of Patagonia to the remote expanses of the Arctic Circle. Campers will tackle complex winter landscapes, creating layered paintings, mixed media collages, and experimental projects inspired by snowboarding down icy slopes, climbing frozen mountains, and observing polar wildlife in extreme environments. Each day challenges creativity, technique, and imagination, giving students the tools to bring the world’s most dramatic, frozen places to life.

Little Artists, Big Artists
Explore art from long ago and today! Campers will create colourful artwork inspired by artists like Monet and Van Gogh, then have fun with modern styles inspired by Romero Britto and Yayoi Kusama. Using paint, drawing, and mixed materials, each day is all about trying new styles and discovering how art can look old, new, and everything in between.

Old vs. Modern
Step into the past and jump into the present! Campers will explore classic artists like Monet, Van Gogh, and Degas, then compare them with modern and contemporary artists such as Romero Britto, Takashi Murakami, and Yayoi Kusama. Art Portfolio Building
Take your art to the next level in this focused portfolio-building camp for teens. Students will strengthen their skills in drawing, painting, and mixed media while exploring creative approaches inspired by artists such as Rembrandt, Degas, Matisse, Keith Haring, Romero Britto, and Takashi Murakami. Through guided projects and independent work, campers will refine their techniques and complete polished pieces suitable for a personal portfolio perfect for students preparing for advanced art programs or looking to showcase their unique style.

Join Bluey and her friends for a week of imagination, fun, and creativity! Campers will draw, paint, and craft scenes inspired by playful adventures, colourful characters, and everyday fun in Bluey’s world. Using bright colours, bold shapes, and hands-on materials, each day is full of storytelling, laughter, and art that brings your favourite puppy adventures to life.

For the Demon Hunter Fans
Step into a world bursting with colour, magic, and adventure! Campers will design daring heroes, mischievous animals, and fantastical creatures, including brave characters inspired by heroes like Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, along with Derpy the cat and a cheerful bird companion. Exploring illustration styles from bold cartoon lines to detailed, storybook-inspired drawings, they’ll bring enchanted forests, sparkling skies, and mysterious castles to life. Each day is packed with hands-on creativity, imaginative challenges, and the chance to develop a personal style while creating magical worlds that are entirely their own.

For the Anime Artists
Bring your favourite characters to life and create your own! Campers will explore the bold, expressive style of anime and cartoons, learning how to draw dynamic characters, exciting action scenes, and colourful worlds. Using pencils, markers, and mixed media, each day is packed with hands-on projects that spark imagination, storytelling, and creativity perfect for kids who love fun, animated art!

A Spongey Art Camp!
Dive into the colourful world of Bikini Bottom! Campers will create imaginative projects inspired by SpongeBob, Patrick, and all their favourite characters, from jellyfish paintings to Krabby Patty masterpieces. With wacky crafts, bold drawings, and lots of laughs, this camp brings the underwater fun to life through art!

Squidwards Studio
Explore the colourful world of Bikini Bottom like never before! Campers will design bold, creative projects inspired by SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and more from dynamic character portraits to Krabby Patty-inspired mixed media creations. With hands-on challenges, imaginative techniques, and plenty of room for personal style, this camp brings underwater fun to life while helping older kids take their art to the next level.

A long time ago… in a galaxy full of colour and imagination… BRAVE HEROES and DARING ADVENTURERS embark on an epic artistic journey! Young creators will explore distant planets, painting masked bounty hunters, mischievous aliens, and loyal companion droids as they bring vibrant cosmic worlds to life. From icy mountains to sparkling forests and rolling desert plains, campers will draw, paint, and craft flying critters, furry multi-armed explorers, and glowing rolling droids. Every day is filled with hands-on adventures, daring imagination, and bold creativity as each participant writes their own story in a universe entirely their own…

Get ready to bring feathery friends to life at our Birds of a Feather Art Camp! Bricks and Colour
Get ready to design, draw, and create your own Lego-inspired worlds! Campers will invent original characters, exciting adventures, and dynamic action scenes — all inspired by the creativity of Lego and cartoons. Some projects will even transport your Lego-inspired characters into famous paintings, blending classic art with playful imagination. Note: actual Lego bricks will not be used; we’ll be using drawing, painting, and mixed media while pulling inspiration from Lego’s colorful, creative style. Whether you love designing heroes, quirky creatures, or epic landscapes, this camp is packed with fun, imagination, and hands-on artistic exploration.

Cottage-Core Creations
Step into a cozy, creative world where portraits meet the charm of cottage-core! Using mirrors, photos, and even live inspiration, students will practice self-portraits, portraits of friends, and original characters, while experimenting with pencils, watercolours, pastels, and mixed media. From sunlit gardens and leafy forest backdrops to magical cottages and dreamy skies, each project blends artistic skill with imagination.
