Welcome to: Fall, Winter and Spring Terms

Winter Term Reminder: Please bring indoor shoes. Snow boots and outdoor shoes are not permitted in classrooms on snowy/slushy days.

Program Details: Dates and times can be found on your receipt and on our website.

Health & Safety: If your child has cold or flu symptoms, please keep them home. Students with a lingering cough are welcome to wear a mask if comfortable.

Arrival & Dismissal: Please inform us in advance if your child will be walking home independently. Only individuals listed on the registration form may pick up your child unless otherwise notified.

What to Wear: Art can get messy! We provide aprons, but we recommend clothing that can handle paint, oil pastels, or sculpture materials. We cannot be responsible for clothing that gets stained during creative activities.

Snacks: Classes longer than 2 hours include a short break. Please pack a nut-free snack and water.

Absences: Missed classes cannot be made up. Our programs run on a fixed schedule.

Cancellations: Cancellations are permitted up to 14 days before the program start date (6% processing fee applies to credit card refunds).
Cancellations made 13 days or fewer before the start date are final. To cancel, email artworksartschool@gmail.com.
Missing a class does not count as a cancellation. If a program is canceled due to low enrolment, a full refund or alternative option will be offered.

Schedule Changes: We reserve the right to reschedule classes due to staff illness or weather conditions. If a class is rescheduled or cancelled on the day of the session, we will do our best to offer a make-up class on a future date. If we are unable to reschedule, a credit will be issued for the value of the cancelled class(es), which can be applied toward a future program at Art Works.

Materials: All general art supplies are included for children and teen programs.

Behaviour Policy: “Behave Your Best and Dress Your Worst!” Students are expected to respect classmates, instructors, and studio materials.

Special Circumstances: We strive to be inclusive and supportive. In some cases, a supervising adult may be required to remain. Registration may be declined/cancelled if necessary for safety.
